Thanks for that. I've seen him identified as a SEAL publicly for many years now without anyone questioning the validity. I should've researched him further myself.

I don't know how to say this without pissing off a ton of Sailors. I have the utmost respect for anyone who has served, no matter your job, or specialty. But I swear, 50% of every Sailor I have ever spoken with claimed they completed BUDS training but didn't want the life, or they were kicked out for being too bad ass. Once even by a woman.

Be proud of your service and don't disgrace it by lying to try and impress folks, no matter what your specialty was.

Back in Jesse's day SEALS, and UDT were distinct. They both attended BUD/S, but then UDT candidates went on to do typical frogman stuff like hydrographic reconnaissance. SEALs went on to be snake-eaters, attending Ranger school, etc.

Today they are merged and when they have reunions, both SEALS and former UDTs are welcome. Most SEALS give Jesse a wide berth because they think he is a tool. If he acted up at either Danny's or McP's, I am surprised he didn't get his azz handed to him.
