I'm still checking it out, amazingly, I don't know how but the floor pans and the frame other than the rear bumper mounts appear to be solid, ie: I couldn't punch through the frame. Yes it is a "242" code.

Update on OB!

He' was in ER today from about 10 till 7:30! He had issues with his cath leaking and he couldn't get thru to his Urologist. Had bad weather last night and he still doesn't have internet or cable and just got his power back a little while ago.
They did tests/MRI/ultra sound. He has a uri infection and original doc put in wrong size cath. He's feeling better and he's on antibiotics which should get him back on his feet in a few days!!Told him I'd post in here for him since he doesn't have internet!

Yes, I can. I first want to find out if this thing is something special, Judge, etc. I know it's a true GTO by the VIN number. Numbers all match. Price is right $1000.00. We'll see. I see scrap metal and Blondie see's,

After 50k + in restoration you might have a 30+ plus car. If it said Lamborghini Miura on the back I'd go for it.

Yup. I’ve restored several muscle cars, including doing all body and paint work. There’s not much left of that car to salvage.
