Check out http://www.dipyourcar.com for more info on this. They also have several really good videos on their YouTube channel.

Is it really as easy as it looks? I could have some fun with this stuff.

That looks really good. Would someone mind explaining what it is? Dipping? Is it paint? Plastic? Can I do boat?

That's what I was going to say. I really like that look. Sharp Bimmer Tony.

It is like a rubber spray that goes on like paint, but you can pull it off. I searched around, and it looks like a lot of people have done boats.

Nice! I did the lower rear fascia of my Z and it turned our really well except for a few edge spots where I applied too much. I like the matte white on the M!

That is pretty slick. Did you do it yourself? If so, do you have experience in painting?

Did it in the shop here at work, and I've never really painted anything before either. I watched several of the Dip Your Car videos, and used a little common sense, and it came out great. It isn't perfect, but we learned a ton doing it. When the mood strikes, I'll pull it off and redo it better.

I would like to turn my blue Yamaha into an old school yellow one. I bet that would be pretty easy to remove plastics and spray them.

Yes.

Its so you can gauge the distance to the curb so you don't tear up the rear passenger wheel when parallel parking.

My truck has that feature, but I was able to turn it off. I didn't care for it.
