Default Nice Cool Indoor Job

Last clay bar session (#22) for a while, will start back up in late fall.
Another eye popping Torch Red, turned out nice.

Another wow job. Is there any good info on how to do that best. I need to do it on a couple of cars. They don't get out much but sandy dust comes in my garage pretty bad.

Really no secret to this. You have to have a somewhat decent finish to start with, clean the surface, get a clay kit (Meguars or Mothers), some good MF rags. Do a section at a time, load up the surface with setail spray and rub the clay over it, press down firmly. If clay grabs, use more spray, that acts as a lubricant, wipe off with one rag, buff with another. That's it.

Claying is pretty easy. Just don't drop the clay bar. If you can find it, there is some "liquid clay" out there. I've used this with good success. Much easier to use, and no clay bar to drop.

I always used a clean sheet of cardboard placed under the section I was working on.
No matter how careful I was, the bar has a mind of it's own!

First time you drop a clay bar and it comes up full of dirt you suddenly learn new words I have found and a new volume level is achieved.

My neighbors learned the same words that day.
