In the Big XII, we've got 1st place Iowa State hosting West Virginia, and 2nd place Oklahoma hosting Baylor. We're on a collision course for Iowa State vs. Oklahoma Round 2 for the Big XII title. Texas faces Kansas State with rumors of Tom Herman's demise swirling and Urban Meyer lurking.

In the ACC, all the ranked teams face big-time underdogs today.

In the PAC, reeling Oregon has to recover from their Civil War to face Cal. #22 Washington hosts Stanford.

In the SEC we've got some classic rivalry games on CBS - Florida-Tennessee in the 3:30 slot, and Alabama-LSU in prime-time. In addition, tricky road game early for #5 Texas A&M at Auburn.

In the B1G Ohio State faces Sparty today. In order to be eligible for the B1G title game, Ohio State MUST play today AND next week vs. Michigan. Any more COVID cancellations will leave them short of the needed 6 games played to qualify. Indiana @ Wisconsin is a great match-up between 2 ranked teams, BUT Indiana QB Michael Penix Jr. is injured and unavailable. TOUGH test for Indiana on the road without him.

Game of the Week: #13 BYU @ #18 Coastal Carolina

Liberty had to cancel on Coastal Carolina, but it worked out for the best because BYU stepped up, giving us a match-up of ranked, undefeated teams. Winner scores a major resume notch, which will be much needed for even a prayer of catching Cincinnati for that New Year's 6 Bowl slot reserved for the non Power-5 schools.

They laughed when i said Ed Orgeron was a lousy head coach. He won with the most talent of any cfb team in the last ten years. How's Ed doing this year? He's 3-5 with good talent better than most of the teams in the SEC.
