Toddler critical after grabbing gun, shooting himself, police say
Posted: Aug 10, 2011 9:30 AM EDT Updated: Aug 11, 2011 11:57 AM EDT KINGS MOUNTAIN, NC (WBTV) - Police are investigating after a toddler in Kings Mountain was taken to a hospital with a serious gunshot injury earlier this week. According to the Kings Mountain Police Department, the toddler lives on Shelby Road and family members took the child to the Kings Mountain Hospital. Police say the toddler had access to the gun and accidentally shot himself. Due to the serious nature of the child's injuries, he was transferred to the Levine Children's Hospital at Carolinas Medical Center in Charlotte. As of Wednesday night, the boy was listed in critical condition. Police are continuing to investigate the circumstances leading up to the shooting. |

My ex used to live on Shelby Road in NC with the boys.
 Probably not the same one, she was in Lenoir County. for the kid,  for the parents.
