Notice in picture #2 who has the guns...We need to make sure we don't end up like these people ...Fighting for and Securing our "Second Amendment Rights" is the only way to do that...As far as the government banning our so called "Assault Rifles" , its a smart move on there part..How well could a Militia fight with bolt action rifles, up against an army with fully automatic weapons?..And don't think they haven't thought about this.... ..WW

The argument that the Founding Fathers never envisioned
M16's or AK's doesn't hold water. Why should new technology be withheld from the 2d amendment? If the 2d amendment means today all we're allowed is black powder muskets, then the 1st amendment should be limited to manual single page printing presses! No newspaper machines or for that matter, no TV or internet news either!

I saw an exchange on TV Thursday.

We need them for the same reason LEO's do. We face the same violent criminal element that cops do, and we face them first before the cops are called in! Bad guys don't go after cops first, they go after the sheep! We are at their mercy because the bad guys choose the time and place to attack us unexpectedly. The cops have the forewarning of being called in after the attack. THAT'S why we need these weapons WITH us, and as many rounds as WE want!

No lardass bureaucrat should EVER have the power to define your self defense! Further, NO bureaucrat should EVER have the power to define what personal property you should or should not own! EVER! We are not wards of the state! They are not our keeper!

Remember, no government entity or law enforcement is duty-bound for your protection! That comes from the Supreme Court after someone tried to sue the government for not protecting them from a near-fatal criminal attack. Can you imagine the law suits if it were legal? They can help, but legally, we are on our own. They have no right to hamstring our self defense. That is ours alone!
