That's great! If I ever need to upgrade my rockers I think these will be the guys I go with for sure.

McLoed and Sneakelman came over today to help with the work on the car. I had already pulled everything but the head. We pulled the head and low and behold found the broken piece of rocker sitting right down by the lifters. There were also several very small slivers that we cleaned up. We were able to reconstruct the broken rocker 100%!!!!!
I've got everything back together just waiting for the new rockers from YT. Needless to say, I was greatly relieved to find the broken piece up top and didn't have to drop the cradle and pull the pan. I haven't been so relieved since Beth had her period in high school... |

I just looked at tracking the rockers. They tried to deliver them today while I was on the golf course.
Oh well, I'll have them Tuesday. |

You guys should have seen Kevin when we lifted that head off. He was all ! Talk about one relieved fellow. I know I sure was when he found the piece of rocker sitting right there. Did NOT want to have to drop the cradle, lift the motor, pull the pan.....
It's all pretty much back together. Replace the rockers, button up the valve covers, throw some Dexcool in it, change the oil, and he's back dusting everything on the road! Always good wrenching with you and Damon, Kevin. P.S. Where's the power supply loom for the wideband? Got the gauge, sensor, and loom that goes to the gauge from the sensor. No power supply loom. OOPS!

Picked up the rockers from the PO today. Nice, complete set.
Now I just need it to be less than 115 degrees in the garage to install them, change the oil and put the DexCool in. It's hotter than the 6th ring of hell here.. |

I should cancel my lessons tomorrow afternoon, and come get the Cruiser back in action. Sweating my bum off in your garage, or sweating my bum off on the lesson tee? Nah, I need the cash from the lessons, cause everytime I come down there it costs me money. I'm going to catch Damon!

I'm going to go on WKMCD time. 2 weeks = 2 days. That'll make winter go by much faster!

It's Alive!!!!!!!
All back together. Brought it to temp twice to circulate the coolant. It's all good! The Gentleman's Cruiser will be back terrorizing the streets... In a gentlemanly way, of course. |

Do the L92 heads have the issue of the rocker bolts penetrating the intake runners like with LS1/6 heads? (see Munch's pic for example) If so, I hope you used some thread sealant (or Loctite) on them. |

The Stage 3 WCCH heads do. I use Permatex Thread Sealer. Good stuff for this.
