This. I watched a youtube video of a guy in Oregon who's nearly new 2019 Jeep self-ignited and would have burned down the entire forest if he hadn't trenched around it and kept his head. Total loss, and did not take long. Cause was electrical somewhere at the firewall/dash on the driver's side. He saw smoke, got out, and it was on. Channel is Coyote Works.

Great memory! My Audi SQ8 was stolen, along with 10 other vehicles, from a hotel in Houston. Ironically, whoever stole it, burned it.

I saw a pulmanologist today and he said I have a moderate case of smoke inhalation. I have an inhaler and I'm taking a steroid. Back to the doc next week. Jeep is aware and they said they'll do "everything to make it right" for my daughter and me. We shall see!

So sorry you have gone through that, glad you were not majorly injured.

I lemoned my 21 Jeep GCL last year. Electrical issues, faulty parts, and improper assembly of the suspension is what helped me in my lawsuit. I was sueing stelantis for that. They settled with me and I got some money back and traded out of the Jeep.

Was highly disappointed with Jeep and the new GCL. I've owned several Jeeps prior with 0 issues. The new ones were just awful.
