Back in the late 60's, couple of older kids around 16 or so went hunting up in northern NH and came back with a couple raccoons.

They hung them from the garage track and skinned them. The stench was just nasty. One of them who was also a bit of a wise ass cut off the coons pecker bone area , cleaned it, made a key chain out of it looking similar to a rabbits foot and gave it to his girlfriend.

Makes me laugh just to remember it all. She found out by accident and beat the hell out of him and they now have about 50yrs of marriage together.
