We did a living history there years ago. It started pouring down rain late at night. I went and slept on the porch of one of the buildings lol We had free roam of the place. Same goes for parks, etc...always fun to have full access without a crowd.

The crowds build during the day. By evening that field will be full. They have/had a laser show with the carving that is totally cool.

When I was in the Navy in the early 60s it was common to have some type of cuff liner on your dress blues. I had the confederate flag on mine sine I am from Texas, they didn't have Texas flag. Several of my black friends had it also.

Hard to believe people are getting so dumb and A-holes about our history.

Ah yes! Liberty Cuffs! I never had them on mine, but my dad told me a lot of his friends did when he was in.

One guy had dragons on his cuffs, and a big soaring eagle on the back of his flap too.
