I completely understand what you're saying, but it's the old deal of you can't trust people, you can just trust them to be who they are.

Yeah, I think it's crap you got banned for that and that Liz did, too. But both of you you had to know you were going to get banned for doing what you did. Right or wrong, you had to know.

What bugs me about it is they want to make it family friendly. The last place I would let my children would be is on that site (or most other forums). I also wouldn't be on it at work, but I understand some employers are okay with that...

Work friendly is one thing, but in the end both work and family friendly are just cop outs so they can remove/ban people for "objectionable posts." I've seen either jesse or jim close a thread because of either making fun of/posting images of mentally or physically handicapped people - and then the next day or week, the image shows up again posted by someone else with nothing being said.

Truth is, I really didn't know who Jesse was. My only run-in with the admins was from Savewave about 7 years ago when I was giving Grandspam a hard time. I got a 1 week vacation if I recall. Other than that I received one warning for posting the "bell ringing" guy gif.

That is it in nearly 10 years.

Also JPM isn't the originator of the site.... there are others involved... it's a team effort

I got an invitation, but since I already checked CF, The Vette Barn and BCF daily, I didn't join yet another forum. I guess right now I'm down to checking one.
