If you disagree, please, post specific numbers instead of just a listing of libtard blogs who throw out the argument that "more white people are on welfare" without ever showing any sort of data to back it up. This is very simple. Post up actual data from some sort of reputable source that proves your point. A bunch of liberal websites making claims without numbers to back them up is not data. A "study" done by a blogger is not data.

Look at the charts and numbers. Every one of them not only shows that there are more blacks than whites on welfare, but that the gap is widening.



What is also shown is that white people living below the poverty line are also much less likely to be on welfare.






I have a very, very simple question. So simple in fact that even you might be able to understand it. It requires a 1 word answer. True or false, a black American is more likely to be on welfare than a white American?

When you look at the situation, at that time, blacks were considered property, and expendable...it was not, in most place, considered a crime to kill a slave for being disobedient, talking down white people, and it was widely accepted that if a black man made eyes for a white woman, he would be severely beaten. Blacks were not considered lower class, they were considered to be the bottom edge of "human" and were treated as such.

Now, as time went on, peoples views evolved and many people began to see them as having class, and worthy of respect..it took many many hard years but the term "slavery" was abolished and the slaves were freed and, at least in some parts of the country, were given "some" rights to coexist with white americans.

Blacks were allowed to serve in the military, they were allowed to go to schools, segragation..like it or not, was a huge stepping stone in the right direction for blacks and whites.

PReviously it was..you dont deserve a bathroom, go piss your pants....then it became, I respect you enough to allow you to use facilities similar to mine, but not my facilities.

That then evolves, during the civil right movement into the end of segregation, and an overall acceptance that blacks are to be considered very much equal to all other races, and treated as such. Gone were words like servant, slave, "colored facilities" or "whites only"...and over time, people have begun to completely ignore color/race as a way to judge someone. However, you still have your stereotypes, like...The angry black man, or 3 out of 4 black men have AIDS, blacks are more apt to commit a violent crime, black people have only 1 parent most often"...which, I dont know the stats but id assume at least 1-2 of those are pretty close to accurate, but they are common stereotypes.

To say that Equal rights were a gift...is pretty accurate, considering the conditions they lived in prior to the abolishment of slavery, and the enaction of civil rights. Those inalienable rights that we all share, were forwarded to them when they were given the gift of citizenship. Citizenship is not a right, or a responsibilty...in this case, it was a gift. A gift that today is squandered by the hundreds of thousands...

I'm not southern, my ancestors fought in the Civil War as Union Soldiers, and were held captive at Andersonville Prison in Georgia. Almost died there. Don't see me pissing and whining about how I should hate the south for what they did.

Shit happens in history and it's going to be ugly. Can't help how our Great Great Great Grandparents had to survive. They did what they could, and it wasn't always pleasant.
