I spend most of my time in OT, but I decided to post in C3 tonight. About an hour ago, my '75 was taken away on the back of a trailer. I have owned it for 28 years. It was my very first Corvette. I had so many years of great times and have so many great memories of that car and what it has seen and done. Trips to Breaux Bridge from Houston, the 84 World's Fair, Galveston beach, and cruising Westheimer in the late 80's. It was very sad to see it go, but I just have too many "projects" and not enough resources to get it back on the road. It will be going to Finland to the buyer's son. He is 14 and can legally drive in 4 years. I would guess it will take that long to get it in fine condition. It was sad to see it go and I hate being sentimentally attached to "stuff" but it happens. I got a little lump in my throat watching it go, but it is better to give it a chance of rebirth, than to simply watch it waste away.

Kinda know what you mean. In 2011 sold a 67 Mustang GT FB that I had for over 20 years. Drove it every day to work until 96 when a kid in a ricer truck hit me.

I repaired/restored it, and got it so nice I wouldn't drive it enough to enjoy it. Always wanted a chrome bumper Vette, so we parted ways.

I love my 71, and it's a work in progress, but man, sometimes I really miss that Ford.
