Le Mans is fantastic! The "problem" is that you cannoth fathom the amount of activities that are going on on and around the track. It takes years to see even a portion of it. Even the supermarkets and stores participate and decorate, even with 1:1 cars. The people are all great, even the locals. Of course there is some crime to watch out for, but this can be said at any event of this magnitude. Anyone that has the chance to go, should do it. But plan ahead on what you are going to do, see and when you will do it. 24 hours ain't long enough for all of it.

I wasn't in the corral...

The first years there were either real scorchers or monsoon rains. The last couple of years have been quite mild, with a rain shower here and there. Luckily our campsite is in a great location and the water runs off very well. Others are not so lucky!
