I had two at one point. Lost one in a divorce and sold the other one for virtually free a few years later. I got it out of my system. Don't miss them and don't want another.

I don't know where I would have ended up on the internet without them though.

I think about selling my Camaro from time to time.
I just don't drive it often enough.

Hard to put a figure on the car, but it has the right componets that show it was done right. Not to discredit what you have put in the car, but its a 90k mile coupe. I think book is in the neighborhood of 12, which your thinking it right on. If it was stock I think you could sell quick at that range, you cross that 100k mark and drops under 10 quick. If you can get 24k for it. Take it and Run!!!!

My first corvette was an '04 Z16 and I've been hooked ever since. I'm on #4 now. It took a lot to sell off my first one, but after that, i'm used to it now. I'm now nostalgic about '04s but happy with my '17 GS that I have now.

Believe me, I found out 25 years ago you don't get anything back on most of your mods.

But, for the right person, in this case another drag/street racer, this car is a very good buy for $20k as it would cost them more than that just to duplicate the motor.

If I were starting over again and looking for a street/strip monster, I'd pay that price all day long for a deep 10 sec NA car in pristine condition.

A new buyer could rebuild the entire drive train, paint it again, and swap tires a few times and not come close to the $$$ spent getting it to this point.

I had fun with all the Corvette's I've had. I liked the 08 Z the best but hated the transmission. The 17 CTS V is sitting well these days. A four door grocery getter which will scare the crap out of you in a nano second. I've driven wild cars before but this one has earned my respect.
