In two weeks......
I might become one of the people here that......does not actually own a Corvette
Someone coming to see it with a certified check........but......I can always say I owned two Corvettes in my life. |

Been thinking about selling mine and replacing it with a convertible rod that will hold the entire family.
A fun grocery getter that I could do an FI LSX conversion on. Scott

If you sell your Corvette, then you must relegate yourself to OT only.

You know, I can't really see myself being without one for the foreseeable future. Bought my first one in May of 1974, always had one until mid 90s when we had the "backseat" years. Had 2 Z28s and a SS until 04 when I bought my first C5. Over the years I have owned 13 Corvettes, currently 2, had 3 for a short period of time. I also bought cars for a Corvette only dealer in Miami for a number of years, probably bought 150-200 cars during that time. My older cousin took me for a ride in his new 65 327/365 horse coupe when I was 9 years old, I was hooked for life. Just a thing that has stuck with me.

I've owned two Corvette's and loved them both
Granted, both of mine were C3's. I love them very much, being covered in grease and all the tinkering, not so much. My last one was a very straight and solid little car, still though I'm getting older and laying on a garage floor and getting filthy is not my idea of fun anymore. I sold my '73 and bought a '17 Mustang GT. And while I love Corvette's I'm not a GM loyalist and love the Mustang. I actually went from Corvette to Mustang back to Corvette back to Mustang. I'll probably own a Corvette again someday, but I'm pleased with what I have now. |

One of my teachers in high school was a car salesman in the evening and took me for my first ride when I was about 14, I too was hooked for life. As long as I have a place to store one I will have one. The guy I sold my 94 to contacted me last week to see if I wanted to buy it back, I just dont have any place to keep it

If with the move we are making I had room to keep it I would....but for the amount I use it to spend $ on renting a garage just does not make sense.

our 2015 is our 8th.
But I've already been in a situation (between #'s 4 & 5) where I though I'd owned my last... mainly due to health and finances. There was a 11 year gap between selling our #4 (1985) and the purchase of (#5) a new 2002. I was very elated to be back-in-the-saddle. I truly believe our current C7 will be the last one for us. |
