My grandson was DWI one night about ten years ago and got pulled over because he had a cracked windshield. He knew the cop would quickly realize he was drunk. When the cop said "Do you know why I pulled you over?" he said "No, but I know why you'll be taking me to jail."

Old druggie joke - a guy that's high on PCP gets pulled over on the freeway. The cop asks if he knows how fast he was going. He says "Gee, I'm sorry officer, maybe 70 or 75?"
