I disagree, and I hope you're wrong. First, most of Hillary's supporters know that she isn't trustworthy. Even among Democrats she has about a 57% unfavorable rating for honesty and trustworthiness vs. 37% favorable. (Even George Wallace had lower numbers for untrustworthiness.) The opinon about Bengazi is about the same. You can bet that Trump will attack her viciously in these areas.

Hillary is no good at thinking on her feet, much like Obama. She's going to stay on script, just like when Marco Rubio flubbed his chances doing the same thing. Trump is tenacious and smart: The problem with Hillary is that she ignores facts and tries to gloss over them: How do you explain that you want our porous borders to stay open to illegal immigrants and Muslims? The Government has already admitted that it can't can't vet the Muslims, that they are unemployable, and the constitute a tremendous drain of money.

Trump may lose their first debate, but he's a quick study. He knows that there are nuances to foreign policy...but can anyone possibly argue that our foreign policy uner Obama has been a success?

I can hear Trump now: "Hillary, why don't you want America to be great again? All I hear from you is to continue being what we have been under Obama, which is destroying this Country. We have terrorism, mass shootings that you say are caused solely by lack of gun control, 30 million illegal immigrants that we pay billions to every year, and we have a laughable reputation in the World. And you don't want to address that, much less change it."

I agree with all the above but my suspicions undermine hope.
That all makes sense and sounds right to us but when it comes down to vote time, the dems will disregard all rhetoric, reason and sense: they will vote for the Devil himself to stay in power. The last two elections have proven an uneducated electorate filled with recipients of free shit and self-enslaved victims will out vote principle and truth....

I'm not saying give up, never give up but this specter of doom is tough to shake.

And that is precisely what Trump is all about! 48% of us still pay taxes to support the other 52%. That 52% will not all vote; in fact, only a small percentage of them will vote, and that will be their undoing. After a few years with Trump as President, there will be an unprecedented glee in this Country. We'll still be in debt, but it'll be whittled down; it's hard to repay $21T in a few years. Employment will rise, and we'll have a leader that the whole World respects and listens to. I think "the worm has turned."

It takes every fiber of my being not to wish a slow painful death upon her. I don't, but I damn sure want to.

There is no stronger indication of this than the fact that Obama served a second term, and this guilty old hag just flipped off the FBI and walked.

OK, I too can see the long range goal but it all depends on him getting in there. I think he'll implement a lot of needed changes but, it's election day that concerns me. The left has a history of f#cking over elections from ballot-counting, missing ballots anon anon...

They have no problem with violent protesting and bullying and any other disruptions they come up with. Rigged voting machines and outright coercion. I'm planning on stocking up for a possible shutdown of public movement and/or commercial movement of logistics if Trump beats the odds and wins.
The Left has no respect for civil manner especially if they lose. Tantrums define their civility...

got ammo?

I was in and out of the room, but I caught a lot of it, I didn't think he looked like an azz. He looked like a guy giving honest answers to leading questions, by a bunch of grand-standers, enamored with the aroma of their own flatulence.

I did like when he said he wouldn't answer a question about the investigation into the Clinton Foundation; there's something there.

How can a "True or False" question be leading?

Gowdy made him look like he was covering for her. He made a simple one page chart with questions that even a simpleton couldn't dance around. Once he was done with his 5 minutes, there was no question in that room that Clinton lied to Congress.
He looked like an azz after that grilling.

I've watched this a coupla times and I've seen his Benghazi Clinton tactics. Ole Gowdy keeps a strong pimp hand when grilling folks. He sets them up where they have to answer just the way he wants. I suspect he has fire for doing the right thing, however, he's in the minority.

Didn't see the Gowdy part. There's no question she lied to Congress, but that's not what Comey was investigating.

Remember when they tried to put Roger Clemons in jail for perjury, for lying to Congress about the baseball steroid scandal? Yeah, me too.

What's the difference between Roger Clemons and Hillary?

you're falling in the "trap".

The reason the lies were mentioned was to legally prove "intent" of the initial action. Gowdy (who has a legal background) was right on this specific. Granted, Comey wasn't trying Hillary for lying after the fact; but lying after the fact can be used to prove intent on the original transgressions.

Comey said the original actions weren't intentional... and the main reason there wasn't an indictment; but in any court of law... her actions after the fact would of been used to show her initial actions were intentional. There's a legal term/phrase for this, but I don't remember it.

Comey ruled, Gowdy stuck his foot up Comeys ass.

Mike, I get that. Ultimately Comey was investigating Clinton on charges related to espionage, that's the section of the code that includes the mishandling of classified materials (that's my understanding). I don't think any reasonable person would believe she did any of this with the intent to harm the country, or benefit from its mishandling. I believe that's why the FBI came to their conclusion.

Now I believe she should be investigated for perjury, which does seem to run in the family.
