Crankshaft position sensor....
Pretty sure I need a new one now in the '09 Z06. Just driving to lunch now, under acceleration, it started hesitating, then the active handling lights came on.
This happened in my '08 many years ago, and it feels identical. Can't fix it this weekend due to Houston, but It's damn nice to have such a long history with this make/model that I can nearly diagnose most things with my butt. Inexpensive part, and easy fix with a lift. Likely 30 minutes max. The one sensation I wish I didn't have the privilege of feeling is blowing an engine. That's how I knew the 2nd time it happened exactly what happened. |

Just got home and scanned it. Cylinder 7 misfire. Got a meeting in 7 minutes, but I'll check the plug wire when I'm done. Since I pulled the intake to replace the oil pressure sensor, a loose plug wire is a very real possibility. Even better...no cost.
