Dumb****ery at the government level, yes. As far as riots and protests, I haven't heard any more than what has been reported here.

My son in Montreal doesn't venture out of his apartment in Montreal much, and he doesn't watch TV news, so I don't really know what is going on up there.

The border is still shut down for non-essential travel.

You thinking of moving to Canadia?

I'm chatting with my son in Montreal. He is telling me that there have been 8,800 deaths out of 35,000,000 people. I know I'm shitty at math, but that looks like a 0.000251428% death rate to me. Best to shut down the country!

More than eight in 10 Canadians surveyed in a new Ipsos poll said they want to keep the U.S.-Canada border closed till at least the end of 2020.

Hesitation to travel during the coronavirus pandemic is also high among the respondents: 93 per cent of those surveyed in the poll, conducted exclusively for Global News, said it would be too risky to travel to the U.S. this summer.
