Kermie loved his bar threads and he didn't appreciate the political pile-ons they sometimes turned into. I think we've lost a lot of folks by not moving political posts and threads to the proper section. It's something I've had many conversations with moderators about, but to no avail. So be it. I don't own the joint.

I finally figured out that no good can come from participating in political threads, so I just don't do it anymore.

I pretty much avoid it, too, but it some times creeps into threads where it doesn't belong. I think that's how Kermie felt about his bar threads.

I do understand. It's gotten to the point where we demonize anyone on the other side. It's one of the things I try to ignore without an ignore list.
