One major reason for inflation is the debasement of our currency . As we increase the amount of dollars in the world at a rate greater than our growth of GDP the dollar buys less. If you look at USD value over the last 60 years VS inflation you will see the correlation.

Reading articles about both showdown inflation and shrinkflation.
Shrinkflation as everyone knows is mfgs just reducing thd size while leaving prices the same, alot of mfgs did this even more so during the last year and in larger increments. Bad enough food is up 15% easily the past year and a half now you pay more for less even.
Nothing horribly new as everyone has purchased products that just get a wee bit smaller every year.

Shadow inflation is minor stuff like not as many people staffing somewhere, amenities cut or reduced, etc. Very hard to track via numbers but it's way up by estimates also.
Throw in alot if not everything this holiday season will be more expensive.
You just know Brandon's people will try and skew the numbers to show how much Americans spent this season, aka look what we did for you, when in reality we're way behind and less was purchased for more.
If inflation isn't brought under control and rapidly(they keep saying its all perceived not real yet... My ass) the economy will tank.

No Big suprise the next area to see a big jump will probably be health insurance rates, a modest jump of 4% already happened this year. Now because people are going to see Dr for non COVID stuff they're going to greatly increase rate/copays/deductibles. Frankly I'm surprised mine did not go up 25% this year as it did every year during the Obama era(thanks fukr my insurance 100% higher). I had already discussed just dropping it and investing the money.
Next up and this one was a shocker, the left thinks their huge spending bill will greatly reduce inflation and costs to the average citizen since ya know free day care and all. Considering the very small portion of the population effected at any one time(having a toddler) this is another bold face lie hoping to keep the sheeple in line and voting for them. So spending a fortune especially during the current economy on a huge green push will help you and I... Who knew i figured driving up fuel costs(and thus energy costs) would be bad.
Also they included an amnesty light immagration portion in the spending bill which is nothing more than political trickery. Basically if you were in the country before a certain date you're eligible for a shitload of govt money and benefits.

The Fed has far more control over inflation than does the POTUS, but you already knew that. To answer your question directly, Trump wouldn't have cancelled the Keystone pipeline and made drilling on federal lands much more difficult and expensive for a start. He might have told CA to GTF out of the way with their insane trucking and smog regulations on port vehicles and trucks so that cargo could move faster. Trump wouldn't have groveled to OPEC and Russia to increase their oil production as Brandon did without success. The U.S. was a net exporter of oil under Trump. Now we're a net importer at the mercy of other countries.

When the price of energy goes up, so does everything else. Duh.
