Even back then television was nothing more than background noise to me. I remember seeing the kids and the dog but nothing of the stories.
My earliest memory of television was the Johnny Carson Late Show premier. Quite the learning experience. As a six year old it was the first time I became aware of people being vulnerable to hype. That mystified me so I stayed up past my bedtime to try and figure it out. Didn't watch much, was not impressed by the show, or with people being excited for it. |
