Remember I talked about a nutrionist several weeks ago...
went from 255 to 225 in six weeks so far from 42 jeans to 36 regular fit and they are loose. Want to go to 210. I have only been hungry a few times at night but the whey shakes take the hunger right out. Still have slight belly fat but hopefully that will be gone in another month. It's unbelievable what no sugar and little carbs can do. Feeling much better and more energy sugar level is now between 90 and 100 which is good. B/P is perfect.

Tell me again how you are doing it. I'm on Atkins now and have lost 27 lbs. since Feb. Your rate of loss is better than mine. Still need to lose 10 lbs.

awesome!!
as noted in the fat camp thread, over time i've gone from 292+ to 225 today. i've been stable at 225 +/- 2 for quite some time now. i'm 6-5. even though the BMI says i'm overweight, my doc says i'm perfect, so i'm going with that. yeah, i'd love to drop 10 more and have visible abs....but that will have to wait. |

Nice job! I've done similar. March 1st I was 248 (I'm 6ft)... Started with a personal trainer...and went no/low sodium, no sugar or processed foods, no breads pastas...lots of organics...fruits, veggies, chicken... Just weighed in yesterday at 211lbs. Have the start of abs showing. . That was my goal...never had abs so I told my trainer I'll give you 90days and devote myself to whatever you want me to eat and workout. So I do 2 personal sessions a week - and 4 boot camp style workouts along with 20 mins of cardio 3x a week. I'm happy!!!

It's so funny but it looks like (finally) people are realizing that everything the .gov told you to do for the last 40 years has been rong!
Fat bad, grains/breads/fruit/potatoes good. Er, not so much. You still see some push-back on not eating natural sources of saturated fat, but really that's OK too. But do not consume fat with carbs/sugar, that's the death knell of diets. |

I'm doing a plan right now myself. lost 15 lbs in a little over 2 weeks...got about 10-12 more to go. At first it was real quick- like a lb a day, but I'm down to keep it up for another month, but I'm thinking 2-3 lbs a week for the remainder of the special diet.
There was definitely a little room for improvement on my food selections, but not so bad- mainly I have to figure out how to moderate the beer drinking. It took me 2-1/2 years to gain 30 lbs...shit, maybe I'll just do it again... 2 months for 2 years... |
