Default Help me out with my next vehicle purchase

Done with the Jeep. Needs new tires so that's my excuse to get rid of it.

Looking for either a truck or SUV with -

1) Sun Roof

2) Can pull 4000 lbs

3) Seats 4

4) Gets 25+ mpg

4WD would be a plus as I pull the boat out of the water and many times there is grass on the ramp.

Any suggestions?

25 mpg is pushing it...most decent SUV's aren't going to get that, especially awd ones.

You don't need a sunroof, you live somewhere nice already.

That is precisely why I need a sunroof.

My criteria when I bought the Jeep was it had to tow and the roof came off. It does both, but neither well.

I don't think any truck, especially 4x4 is gonna get 25, 20 if you're lucky. The Tacoma is about the closest thing I can think of.

Believe it or not, the POS Wrangler averages about 20 mpg.

I have a trailblazer that is awesome! Best mpg though is 18. I have third row so it seats 8 comfortably which may be more than you need but its got tow package and sunroof as options

Porsche Cayanne Hybrid is rated 24mpg hwy and has 7700+ towing capacity

Audi Q7 rated at 22-25mpg hwy and can tow up to 5500

RX Hybrid | Overview

Towing capacity is only 3,500 pounds, but sway controls bars and a brake controller should make that a non-issue. 30 MPG city, 28 on the HWY.

You're a die hard liberal. Why aren't you trying to buy a Prius or a Leaf?

Maybe. bit big, but I really like the new Tahoes, it might be a bit shy of your gas mileage, but it's certainly a comfortable ride.

You didn't say a price range, so how about the Rouge-r?

Honestly down in the keys, I can't think of anything I'd like more than a jeep wrangler, throw that light rain cover on it and never mess with the roof again.

Have you looked at the 2006 Hummers? Gets about half the gas mileage, but it can go topless!

2012 Honda Pilot. AWD only kicks in when it's needed. 25mpg Hwy. Plenty of hsp and tq when you need it.

Handled like a turd, ate brakes, and if you get 18 MPG, you are a liar.

Because he needs a tow vehicle. He would need to step up to a Subaru, the baller car for Dems.
