Default BRII Mishaps
I want to start a new thread on the mishaps and stuff you have to replace because of the way home. After avoiding numerous near misses due to animal life I caught a road gator on the hood and have to paint my hood again. Left a penny size ding to the primer I have to repaint.

Knocked a hole in the tailgate of my truck while backing the smoker back up onto my patio.

I did not realize it was turned as much as it was and when I gunned it to pop it up the curb and on the patio, it turned just enough to catch the tailgate of my truck and knocked a nice hole in it.



Oh well...it is just a truck.

My air conditioner only worked when it wanted to on the way home. Picked up an electrical gremlin on the way home.

many moons ago, i could have done that in one long day. time takes it's toll.

i once drove from Toledo, OH to Rapid City, SD in one long day in my 98 vette. no more. that was about 1100+ IIRC.

geezer travel: max of 450 miles/day. eh, what's that sonny? we gotta stop, it's 330pm, time for early feeding...

I hear that. We split the trip up into 2 days each way. Much easier to do 2 days of 5-6 hours each.
