I didn't know anything about these Trump sneakers so I did a search...

Holy crap, the media handled this as if Trump manufactured these shoes with the skin of murdered illegals and each pair comes with a bag of fentanyl.

These people are sick.

I have a nephew who runs internet "bots" on web sites offering premium stuff like sneakers, trading cards and computer gear; he (at age 17) snap up the stuff and resell it online and the kid made $40K last year doing it after high school in the afternoons.

His parents are giddy over it, but although prob legal, its scalping IMO and pretty smarmy.

I don't think it is smarmy. I know a young man who does the same thing. He also goes to flea markets and spends plenty of time on Ebay, CL and FM. He does 6 figures a year.

Not illegal but smarmy as all hell.... Preventing normal kids or gift-giving parents from buying shoes for a basketball team or sports event without paying the butcher's bill in illicit profits to some yokel too lazy to do real work. But, maybe its just me...
