I never had a problem with him until he attacked milyellow02 out of the blue for being an alcoholic. I don't know if he was or wasn't, but it seemed pretty uncalled for. I mostly ignored his antics and arguments with him.

I never did either, and frankly, If I would have I probably would have been somewhat naive to it anyway. I certainly remember his posts, but I just never got wrapped up into the 'dog pile' giving someone crap all the time like they do over there...Again though, he was an attention whore.

This is so fecked up I don't know what to think...

I always wondered how that thread ended when he announced that he had lost her, I was in the middle of reading it that night on November 7th last year when the power went out the night before the Typoon.

I felt bad for him because whatever anyone had to say about him, good or bad, it was always very clear to me that he loved her very much, and was very proud of her.

I knew that a lot of people over at cf did not like Dan but I had no real problem with him. I did not really pay a whole lot of attention to him (as I don't with most folks on a forum). I know that many said he was egotistic.

I figured he had to pretty much in line what with being a retired LEO and having what seemed like a good life with a wife he adored (almost to an extreme) and bragged on. Nice place to live.

I am shocked and saddened.
