Absolutely great hot dog sauce

No one ever got the actual recipe for Pete's Famous Hot Dog in birmingham Alabama but this is what some think is close.

Pete's was a famous Hot dog stand in Birmingham and the man who ran it, Gus, was loved by folks far and wide. There is a face book page for Pete's hot dogs.

Gus served the sauce on an all beef hotdog with mustard, kraut and onions. Many preferred it served with a grape drink called Grapico.

do yourself a favor, try it next time you have a hot dog.
