Having been on many Internet message fora over the years I've seen what can happen when the wrong type of person gets Moderator powers with no oversight. They basically end up doing whatever they want, sometimes for legitimate reasons, sometimes for petty and vindictive ones, and somethimes just because they're in a bad mood. 1) nobody would know i owned up to my DUI had i not posted about it. I ****ED,UP, OWNED IT, LEARNED, AND HAVEN'T REPEATED. YES, I KNEW THE SHIT THE FORUM(S) WOULD GIVE ME, BUT I EXPECTED AND DEALT WITH ITH. GOT A LOT OF GREAT ADVICE I STILL LISTEN TO.
