It is refreshing to see cops going after leftists now, but I have big problems with what I just saw. What is the fascination with throwing people to the ground? That seems like de facto excessive force for starters.

Can I guess that if someone did that to those officers' wives, mothers, or daughters, they wouldn't like it? I don't know what precipitated the arrest of the first person, but this lady in white should simply have been told to get back, give them a little room.

I was a bit of a feisty @hole when much younger, but even I knew not to mouth off to cops; even the ones being jerks....there is no winning outcome for you.

And then there is the fact they are doing a sucky, low-paid, thankless job, while entitled, non-producers and trust fund kids run around the streets bitching about the system that, well, let's them run around the streets bitching.

I'm out of touch with current procedures but I believe if someone is acting violently or non-compliant, taking them to the ground is an effective way to control them.
