The Red Baron

This just struck me about Red Baron Pizza. How, in today's woke/cancel culture climate, could you name a product after a man who shot down at least 80 allied airplanes and who fought for a country that basically started WWI.
No doubt an honorary man in history, but essentially, an enemy of the rest of the world and a killer.
They pulled Uncle Ben's rice and Aunt Jemima Syrup....who were portrayed as kind black people who knew their shit. They didn't kill people.

How could something like Red Baron Pizza be allowed to fly in today's climate?
I'm glad it is, because censorship sucks.

What's next? Hitler's Gas Oven Pizza?

I have many friends of both persuasions. Almost to a 'T' all are smart, responsible, ethical, hard-working and honorable people. Which is why they don't get any 'affirmative action' credits for tests or exams like the blacks.

That's what I'd thought hearing it from a few of my friends who were there.
I know (knew) a LOT of guys who are now gone or in their 70's-80's who used that term if you could get stories out of them. Most were airplane mechanics over there, but a couple got the real shit detail, Army Infantry and Marine recon outfits. Life and death stuff daily, mostly death. I don't think any of them 'healed' from it 100%. The ones who died later all got cancer, IMO from Agent Orange.
