I used to travel internationally quite a bit at my last engineering job. It was at first but then it was

I remember taking a train from Helsinki up to Jyvaskyla (sp??) one summer in the late 90's. It was gorgeous. Passed by a buncha castles and beautiful country.

Working on details for a subdivision, that the engineer says should sail through the planning board process pretty easily....I just found that out an hour ago.....

thanks for the bump all.

well, i've had funner days....

had the roofer out today, after much inspection, discussion, and evaluation, the best course of action is......new roofs....crap.

they have spray on type of material that has no seams, stretches and contracts with weather, is critter proof, that get applied directly on top of the existing roofs.....

drumroll please, we have all one story buildings, flat roofs with parapets, total cost:

$24,000.

gah.

that's a nice used vette, with floor mats....

well, you have to protect your investment, and there is no point is doing interior renovations if the roof is going to destroy all your work by leaking on everything.

thankfully, we have some $$ set aside for rainy days...why can't it just be a light drizzle???

sigh.....
