Very sad, but saves the lives of those who want to take adventure trips on subs.

Not sure I would recommend a space trip either, as proven, many things can go wrong.

I am sticking with the daily runs in my cars, scary enough for me on the roads of SE FL.

The barrel over the falls is much less risky, IMO. In interviews the owner/designer of the sub comes across as very arrogant.

Is it just me, or are/were there no fail safe systems like a tether cable, locating beacon, back-up radio or communications, etc.?

It seems to me that, for the level of danger this trip has/had, the overall attitude of the folks running the show is rather cavalier.

Based on finding a 'debris field', can one assume it crashed on the ocean floor and was destroyed.

Does not look good when a submersible does not have multiple back-up systems for communication, power and oxygen.

This should be a warning to those who are considering a space flight, as launches and returns can be fatal.

As I have said, city traffic is the biggest risk I will take on.
