If there are laying puddles he might be better on the street tires...at least they will have some tread pattern to channel the water away so he doesn't hydroplane. Keep us posted on how the day is going please

It was low, but on the bright side, we got to talk with the GM engineers for a period of time besides he and I don't like large crowds and the bonus was there was NO traffic!!

We've had some good breaks. Had a 15 min delay getting started, then a car ran and there were timer issues. That have us a 35 min delay. Then a few spun out which made the following cars too close so they had to stop and rerun.... Just now running 2nd runs on first heat. Should have started 2nd heat by now. Ysy!!!

Sun is out and the wind is blowing drying the course out. Everyone is scrambling to get slicks back on

The rain and wind kicked in after we got back to the hotel. I woke up at 4 ish the rain was pelting the windows, so I went to the window and watched trees bending and just sheets of rain coming down

The hotel lost power around 7 ish.

We checked out of the hotel and went to another!
Didn't make it to see Buzzy as the property had a tree down on the electric fence and it was far too messy and dangerous to have a 6 yo. in that environment (with restless horses after a storm like that).

Speaking of which, other than one of Dawns' friends wanting to drop off a horse for her,she found (2) 6 month old gelding quarter horses for sale.
