A VERY GOOD HIGH-QUALITY UPS costs about $200 at Best Buy or Walmart, no valid excuse for the black box shortage.
I would be very surprised if the investigation states the black box did not have a UPS, I am with you, this may have been an intentional shutdown.

HMMM, it may start smelling like a dead fish before the investigation concludes.

The National Transportation Safety Board detailed during a Wednesday night news conference what is believed to have happened in the moments before a cargo ship crashed into Baltimore’s Francis Scott Key Bridge, sending the bridge collapsing into the water.

The NTSB received six hours of voyage data recorder (VDR) data spanning from midnight to 6 a.m. on the day of the crash. The VDR shows a basic snapshot of what’s happening, including the ship’s speed, heading, RPMs and audio from the crew.

VDRs are required to record 30 days of history, according to the NTSB. Six hours of data were released to investigators immediately, and the rest of it will be obtained later.

The six hours of data includes the time of the accident. Just because something is on the internet doesn't mean it's true.

Thanks, I should have responded as you did, as I did see the NTSB conference last night, and the lady did state what you posted.
The problem I see here is that buttplugger will play a role, which means even though much factual data will be reviewed, there will be many lies to serve the white house narrative, which at this time I am not sure of, but think it will be angled toward blaming TRUMP in some way.
Once TRUMP is the reason, I fully expect a house committee, similar to JAN 6 clownshow, to recommend criminal charges to block or invalidate his NOV WIN.

Timeline is pretty detailed from the NTSB

On Wednesday, the National Transportation Safety Board released an initial timeline of events in the tragic collapse of the Francis Scott Key Bridge, which was struck by a container ship and destroyed early Tuesday.

At 0124 hours, Dali was under way in the channel, making eight knots and steering 141 degrees. At about 0125, multiple alarms went off, and the VDR ceased recording the ship's electronic system data. Using backup power, the VDR kept recording bridge audio, and it captured the pilot's verbal rudder commands.

One minute later, at 0126, the VDR was able to resume recording the ship's electronic data. Shortly after - at 0126:39 - the pilot made a general VHF call for tug assistance. This was the first distress call from the vessel.

At about this time, a dispatcher at the pilot's association contacted the duty officer at the MDTA, the state authority that operates the Francis Scott Key Bridge. This gave the MDTA enough early warning to begin shutting down the bridge to traffic, an action that officials have credited with saving many lives.

Until two years ago, it was illegal to collect rainwater in CO. The ruling was that the water is already owned by someone else as soon as it falls. I can now legally have two 55gal collectors max.

I am aware, but it doesn't affect me, because I do not live in the actual city of Toronto.

I live in the GTA (Greater Toronto Area).
