We just did a yummy breakfast in LA a the The Coffee Company on Sepulveda near Manchester, around the corner from where we stayed last night.
Now we're waiting for our friends from Philadelphia to pick us up. They landed about an hour ago.
Then it's off to the Farmers Market to catch a touristy bus thing.
We'll see Hollywood, Bel-Aire, Rodeo Drive...... You know... All of the touristy places. Then to Malibu for 2 nights.

Saw that on Monday.
The Beverly Hills Hotel was used for the Hotel California album cover.
The house we are staying in in Malibu reminds me of that.
There is some off the chain money here.

We had a great drive from Laguna

Beach to San Diego.
We stopped in Carlsbad for a yummy lunch and here we are ..Geez...after the digs we were in in Malibu and Laguna Beach, San Diego is kind of a let down
We're doing the zoo today and going seal watching, and tomorrow we're renting bikes and riding around Coronado Island.
California is gorgeous.

Ya we did the Venice walk. I was singing rhcp the entire time.
It was weird to smell reefer the entire time, as it is entirely legal.
Santa Monica was more our speed
Today we're renting bikes on Coronado and later tonight, a San Diego ghost tour. The flat top, USS Midway looks really cool out here too.

I had relatives that I visited with that lived near Redondo Beach. Later the company I worked for sent me to San Francisco, Palm Springs, LA, etc...They told me it was less expensive to fly in on a Sat. I would have an entire weekend to explore before doing my work starting on a Monday.

We went seal watching and caught this little guy frolicking around by the Coronado Pier.

I just missed you. I was at McPs last week. It’s a great place to hang out with my SEAL buddies, though we often go to Danny’s down the street also.

I see you took a picture at Hollywood and Gower. Should have asked me, i could have directed you much closer to the sign. Next time, shoot up Beachwood Canyon to Ledgewood past Rodgerton to the Deronda gate.

By the way, McP’s is owned by Greg McPartlin, a retired Navy SEAL. That’s why you see all the stuff hanging on the wall, and besides, NSWC as well as SWCCS, is just a couple of blocks down the street.
