Default Just got called out today...
My boss' boss forwarded me a company quarterly update video from our CEO. We have 1,200+ people in our division world wide. Unbeknownst to me that this was coming, but apparently I'm the #1 biller in the world from the first quarter. 658 hours vs. #2 (Europe) and #3 (Austrailia) had 504 and 501. Funny thing is I didn't even work 19 week days in February.

Pretty neat to be on the CEO's radar, especially since I get to meet him for the first time in person in Morocco. Regardless, head down, keep trucking, get some miles behind me. Already been offered $25k more annually to leave. Can't post the video, as it's company internal, and not appropriate for general web consumption.

2087 work hours per year (per .gov, they account for leap years over a 4 year period and spread it out), so 2087 / 4 = 521.75/qtr.

oh, i ran errands this morning - went to the bank, got gas, went to HD (co-ax cable), bought some shotguns, got a load of water (285 gallons), off loaded that, had lunch with Mrs. DAB, put up 2 sets of blinds, ran the co-ax in my office (nice and neat), took Leah for a few walks, watered some plants, put the shotguns away after a quick clean, talked to mom and dad......

Spanish rice for dinner with venison.

These are BILLABLE hours. Naturally you accumulate a significant number of un-billable hours during any given month as well.

Do you have any pics from the Morocco trip, or did I miss them?

I was in the printing business when shop floor data collection systems became the norm in the 80s. The shop in Palo Alto where I worked was a test shop for one of the first ones, made by Covalent Systems. Selling time is what it's really all about. My boss used to call time the great equalizer, because every one, from a homeless bum to the richest man in the world gets the same amount of hours in every day. Nothing can change that, you can only change how you use it.
