If the 65 mph winds, with snow included, weren't fun enough last weekend; the ice storm that is starting right now, with 40-60 mph winds included, could be even better !
1/4" coating of ice????

I pulled all of my cars and truck outside for a good coat of ice.
When it melts, it'll be the best car wash that I ever had.
I can't believe the money that I'm saving on car washes.
I'm such a lucky guy....

60,000 lost power last weekend, I wonder how many will, with tonight's little foray...

I need to go see him someday. I don't see as many concerts now as I used to, because I live so far from the big venues. Love that Gibson Firebird. Reminds me of Johnny Winter, who also used to play one. I saw him once in a club that held less than 200 people. He took the roof off the place. Wouldn't it be cool to see JB in a small club?

That was Johnny Almond on the sax.

And yes, many people have been influenced by Mayall. His band has basically been a blues college for 50 years. Eric Clapton, Mick Taylor, Peter Green, John McVie, Jack Bruce and Mick Fleetwood are among those who have played in his bands. I saw him once in Santa Cruz in the 70s and Mick Taylor was with him on that tour.

You couldn't even buy screen from Home Depot until December. I finished all of the vertical panels a few weeks ago, and a company came and did the roof panels yesterday. Price gouging seems to have subsided....unlike roofs. We need a new roof. Fair price is $36k...prices we received ranged from $50-70k. No sale, fuck off. I'll put buckets in my house if necessary.

Joe has it all... tone, presentation and mastery. I still don't feel his music like I feel Jeff Beck, Jorma Kaukonen or Clapton (early anyway). He lacks... sincerity if I may use that term to describe his music.

After Cream, other than a few songs, he was just there. Over rated imo.

The monotony of his music bores me.
Both are pioneer legends, no doubt, but JB is beyond the generations..
Tone is lost on so many people, but as you say.... His dials are turned to the tonal masterpiece.... Literally.
Tone, the mastery of the dials among band mates, differentiates the ....
