People buy gold and silver when they think the economy and country is going to shit and going to collapse, same with gun and ammo.

People might also decide to use those monetary metals as money again? At the very least, as a store of value, especially as they watch the dollar’s value fall more quickly than normal.

I think it’s getting harder to ignore the currency debasement occurring nowadays.

Our dollars have always had value because of our military. We are a world reserve currency. Oil is traded in dollars. It has been this way, because anyone who would try to upset that would be crushed militarily. Well, since Biden is literally owned by the Chinese, there's a very real possibility that those things that force the rest of the world to pretend that our fiat currency has value will disintegrate, and our dollars will become the new Zimbabwe dollars, especially since we keep printing trillions more out if thin air.

Sooner or later, the jig will be up and we'll be hauling wheelbarrows of cash to the store to buy whatever moldy loaves of bread they have left.

You would have to post a picture to get any real opinion. However, keep in mind that those are fairly common coins, so unless they are in mint, or nearly mint condition, they will be basically silver value.

I have some Morgans back as far as 1879, none are high-rated type of coins. I suspect all of mine are worth their weight in silver.

BUT on the .net some site had them as worth 60 bux each MINIMUM, and some supposedly worth 600 bux.......up to an ASStounding 2500 bux......

looked just like what I have.....

and the stuff I have is much better than watt is shown in the addy's......

I'm not an expert at this, but I have been a "casual collector" since I was a kid. Mostly stuff I took out of my change, or stuff I found that was old, silver, and relatively cheap. But I do read about the real stuff from time to time. That, and I'm sure there are folks here who know a shit load more about it than I do.
