Basically this. My wife told me he died, and I shrugged. She asked me about it, and I said the guy had been in trouble with the law numerous times, and was far from a "great guy". She didn't believe me, and looked it up. Yeah, he was an asshole.

I also agree that cancer sucks, and 80+% of the people it takes are good people. But I'll be just fine if the character "Screech" never enters my mind again for the rest of my life.
