As a longtime fan of the ME 262, I really enjoyed this video. The engine detail
is superb. The kid narrating does a great job of explaining the history and Nazi politics in the production process. Fantastic detail all the way through! Thanks Tim! |

Absolutely fantastic production.
I can’t imagine anyone else doing a better job. This young man is extremely knowledgeable and the whole thing was very well presented. |

during a groups private rental of the USAF Museum in Dayton Ohio.... I got to sit in the ME 262 they have there. The cockpit, and what you were seeing of the overall airplane from being seated there, was just mind blowing (trying to convince yourself these were actually flying back in the mid 1940's).

I loved WW2 aviation as a teen and for a few decades. I would collect anything original pieces. Read every book and watched every movie.
Those things had to be a handful with the short wingspan, speed, and no computers, etc..to correct mistakes. All manual! Just think if they had ramped up production or the war started later etc...and they had squadrons of them. |

you had to fly for about five miles before reaching top speeds. The jet engine throttles couldn't be moved quickly; they didn't have fuel metering figured out yet.
