The only other street vehicle I own is an old 1999 F150. Having sold new cars for a living I have no interest in new vehicles.

I wish we didn't use so much salt here. The reality is it doesn't snow much here for the simple reason that it just isn't cold enough to get a lot of snow. But I guess the DPW guys get paid overtime to spread gigantic amounts of salt any time a few flakes are possible, so we get what we get.

Last drive of 2023 was December 16th, relatively late. First drive of 2024 was today, very early. Total winter storage this year = 7 weeks and 1 day. I can live with that.

Not that it matters much, I grew up in SE PA, and it wasn't really snowy there either, despite what the "green weenies" try to tell you. When I was in grammar school in the '70s, we rarely used the 3 snow days that were included in our school calendar, yet some folks will try to tell me how their childhood around here was chock full of constant blizzards. Although we did have blizzards in '78, '83, '93, '96, and '14, it has always been normal for us to have just a few minor snows per winter other than that.

The only other picture that came out at all is attached. This is normally a very lightly traveled road near my house, but of course on a nice day like this, there were lots of cars!

Having been in the auto industry for a living and now retired, same here.

The newest truck I've ever owned is my '05 Tundra, I still drive my '83 Hi Lux, but the newest car I've eve owned is my '67 GTO. Been driving since 1976.

I lived in Syracuse for a number of years and they use more salt than I'd ever seen. The damage that it does to cars is terrible. It would probably be cheaper to require AWD or 4WD on vehicles and leave the salt in the mine.

Great another one that needs to make up stories to make himself feel better. I bet Yadkin has room for you under his bed you two could spoon while you're hidding. And maybe a little slap and tickle.

My stumps and anvils have made me a lot of money. How much are you paying your farrier?
I believe you said he was there every six weeks.

Oh shit I forgot you're afraid of the horses. You are delegated to the chickens.

Got out with my daughter today, third time this week! Monday is supposed to be 50 degrees again, so I will try to get out one more time. After that, snow is forecast 3 times in the following week, so it will likely be March before I get out after that!

Hope you all are enjoying your toys!
