That is not a chainsaw...it is a oversized pruning tool. From Japan no less....shame on you. maybe we should do a go fund me so you can get the Stihl that's made in America.

The most powerful Stihl Chainsaws – the pro-level saws like the 880, 881, 660, 661, and so on – are all still made in Germany. However, parts and materials are sourced from around the world.

Stihl Group Manufacturing has state-of-the-art assembly plants in:

Austria
Brazil
China
Germany
Switzerland
United States

Your stupidity continues to amaze and entertain.

And of course: Rent free, Himey.

From the very first line in your link:
Quote:
A majority of STIHL products sold in America are made in America of U.S. and global materials.
Majority: The greater number or part; a number more than half of the total. In other words, at least 51%.

And as my link showed, the pro-grade products are made in Germany, which is where the company is based. I purchased a pro-grade Echo, made where that company is based, in Japan.

Once more your stupidity continues to entertain.

Looks like I struck a nerve. Rent free, Himey.

Echo is made in America with more American sourced parts than any other brand...even their plastics are molded here.

On the 2511, the recoil handle is designed to act as a tool fir loosening the caps should they become too snug.

Better than stihls flippy caps unless you enjoy bathing your cock in mixed gas, probably more action than some of these stihl homos would get otherwise.

Look at this minty survivor from 1986, original bar and chain, guy bought it new, used it once and put it back in the case. The case disentegrated when he picked it up, still had the reciept and a spare chain in the box.

That's because you're an egghead engineer. You like to use your brain instead of just your mouth. An OK trait---I guess.

Chunked up this little pile from a hung-up tree this afternoon. So much easier than my old McCullough from the 80's, 18" bar.

I bought my first saw in the mid-'70s -- a used "Clinton," LOL. Surprise surprise it was a POS. I would go to look for it and it would be gone. I'd usually find it at the nearest bar, sitting next to the local slut. J/K. It was hard to start and cut like crap.

A year or so later I bought a new McCullough (as I mentioned earlier). It was great compared to the Clinton, it would actually cut once I got it started. But starting it was always a PITA, hot or cold.

Then the Echo in 2001. Always starts good, always cuts good. Never done anything to it except sharpen the chain and clean the air filter regularly.

Others here, farting into the couch and watching football, will somehow find fault with your Yadpile.

All of the small diameter logs are on the same side...would have looked much better if he made it symmetrical.

This saw, first time, four pulls with the choke on, then one with the choke off, then off to the races.

It has a nice chain brake like my old saw; set that to put the saw down, or to walk through brush and loose footing. Light enough to cut with one handed if the need arises.

Mine can sit for a year in my unheated barn, and it might take 5-6 pulls. One pull if it's warm.

With my McDonalds (sic), I had to use starting fluid all the time when it was cold.

I've been using TruFuel in my small engines for two years now, and so far, so good.
