Chickens will do fine in the wild after being raised domestically...they eat anything and everything.

All you did was steal a meal from a hungry Puma, and bring it home to luxury a fowl will never comprehend.

There is no water where he was. I don’t think roosters have the means to travel to search out water the way the bigger animals do. Especially along a mountain/forestry shelf road with sheer drops. For the last few weeks, mountain bikers have been giving him water in a dish that someone left behind for him. But they’re not there everyday.

He needs a flock and a home. He’s obviously tame and didn’t deserve to be dumped in the forest.
