C-5 v. C-6 (427)
I currently have a 50th Annie Edition, auto tranny, 350/350.
Coming in Sept is my 2013, stick shift, 427/505. Both are verts. I've been doing alot of reading on C-6's and trying to do a compare/contrast, other than the obvious. Please chime in with your knowledge. All is appreciated and thanks in advance. Last edited by Allan; 07-27-2012 at 7:27pm. |

First off, nice choice in cars, what colors are you getting.
The power level will be miles above the other Vette you mentioned, with that said the gas mileage will be about the same. Your tire mileage will drop by a factor of about 40%. Unless you know what you’re doing and only do it at a secluded spot do not disable the traction nannys, car will go sidewise on you real quick on a fast start. I’m now driving a 07 Z06, but had both a C5 (98Vert) and a 05 Vert, both were manuals. |
