Depends on where you are our Thai house it is hotter than usual hitting a 100 today and high 70s next week in north Texas. But up north are freezing their assets off.

Shit, so far at least in my area this is nothing!
Born mid 40s so have seen a bunch of weather. It was nothing unusual to have temperatures go down to about -20 each night for a week or so every winter. During the days it might warm up to 4-5 degrees. Having to work outside in weather that bad was normal, its quite simple NO WORK NO PAY! Then there is snow the last 20 years or so the amount has not been as bad. School closings due to weather when I went to school (50s-60s) were rare. Good bet only had about 6 over all the years I went to school. Now they have it on the 11 o'clock news that schools are closing next day because of weather reports of which at least 1/2 are wrong. |
