I caught another merchant collecting Sales Tax wrongfully...

And it's another Corvette parts seller. I ordered a part for my '67 yesterday and noticed that it added 7% to my order for Sales Tax. I called them and asked if they sold more than $250,000 in my State per year, and they didn't know. I told them to be damned sure they do before adding Sales Tax or I'd sue them.

They immediately backed off and deducted the Sales Tax from my order. Another merchant pocketing the additional 7% and not sending it to the State, or at least keeping 2-3% of the tax pursuant to a deal with the State.

I'll post the name of the merchant if a Mod can assure me that I won't get banned like they do at the other place for criticizing one of their advertisers. .

I ordered a $3 sticker (3x5"), they didn't charge me sales tax (no tax state), but they want to charge me $11.50 shipping, when they could easily slip it in a first class stamp envelope and mail it.

Of course I didn't order it, and most likely never will order anything from that business.

SO MANY idiots on things like ebay/etc that want 5 bux for some POS, and 20 bux to ship it.....

yeh, they can ship it alright.......
