Well, my company has been letting us go up to 80 negative hours of vacation, so far I am -40. A week ago we were issued laptops and I have been working thru VPN from home this week and getting stuff done. So, it looks like we will be set back to accrued vacation and our funding reboots to start over in 3 weeks if it all happens again. So, it seems it has been a 4 week paid vacation for me, unless Congress screws the contractors.

I wouldn't be surprised at all if he played them like a fiddle. Now the SOTU is back on schedule. What could be better than to have the person responsible for not willing to compromise at all sitting behind when you state the facts about how less than decade ago both negative nancy and screwy eye chuck were all gung ho for 326 miles of border fencing. Now President Trump wants 213 miles and it's a bad idea?

Plus being on live TV during the SOTU address, the fake news can't edit him to create their sound bites.

I guess we'll find out Tuesday

I always lived below my means so I could always take care of my own. As a bonus I was able to retire before I was 50.

Nancy has been very clear: no wall. I don't see what there is to negotiate. No wall. 3 weeks will put us right back where we are now.

Trump caved. Nancy cut his head off and he doesn't even know it.

Trump will have to declare an emergency, the appeal to the 9th Circuit, and the injunction to that order have probably already been written and are just waiting to be issued.

America lost this fight, and as far as I am concerned Trump ought to just burn it all down right now, instead of us just sitting around watching it all go down the toilet as the US turns into a 3rd World shithole.

Declassify everything. Let the people see what a rotten cesspool their government is. Just burn it down.

Nope. If we are smart enough to figure that angle out then so is President Trump. If that was all there was to it, he would have NEVER done it. Unlike most politicians, Trump is not a loser.

If we know that going the "national emergency" route will tie it up in the courts and it will die there forever, again Trump knows it too. He has a strategy otherwise he would not have done it.
